- Never walk without a documents in your hands:
People with documents in their hands look hardworking employees
heading for important meeting. People with nothing look like they
are heading for canteen. So make sure you carry loads of stuff home
with u at night, thus generating the false impression that you work
longer hours than u do.
- Use computers to look busy: Any time you use
the computer it looks like "work" to the casual observer
- Messy Desk: Top management can get away with a
clean desk. Build huge piles of documents around your desk
- Voice Mail: Never answer your phone when you
have a voice mail
- Looking Impatient and annoyed: It gives an
impression that you r busy
- Leave the office late: Always leave the office
late, especially when the boss is still around. you could read
magazine or simply surf the net. Send important emails at unearthly
hours (eg 9.35 PM, 7 AM)
- Creative sighing for effect: Sigh loud when
more people are wround, it gives an impression that u r busy
- Stacking Strategy:
- Build Vocabulary: Find some
good jargons and use it when boss is around. he wont undestand but
it sounds mpressive
- Have 2 jackets: Always leave a spare jacket draped over the back of your seat. Thjis gives an impression u r still around in the office.

Haha. It’s true – Tiffany does sigh a lot. I guess she’s more busier than I am, seeing that we sit across from each other.
My personal favourite from this list is “Have Two Jackets”. That’s a good excuse to get a new clothes!
